IPC100 - IPC1 Evaluation Kit
General
Description
The IPC1 clock module is
designed for distributing and recovering high quality clock over packet
networks. It is an application agnostic, cost effective, reliable, and
standard compliant synchronization solution for applications requiring
high-performance synchronization.
The module implements a state-of-the-art clock-estimation algorithms
suite
with performance proved to be reaching the theoretical bound. The IPC1
clock module is a stand-alone module with no external components
required; with the intent to shorten development and integration time.
The module can operate either in MASTER mode, distributing the clock
source over the packet network, or in SLAVE mode, recovering the clock
source from the incoming packet stream.
The IPC1 clock module is designed for easy field upgrades to support
emerging standards like IEEE1588 Precision Time Protocol (PTP), ITU-T
G.8261 and Circuit Emulation protocols.
